Does God hear our prayers for our pets? They are often called man’s best friend. Does that make them important to God as well?
Winston was sad to leave his momma and siblings behind the day he was adopted. His new family
consisted of Daddy Tim, Mama Karen, two girls named Abby and Kaitlyn, and another dog – Heidi.. He and Abby spent their days running, frolicking, and
playing fetch. He even learned how to jump into ponds and won lots of ribbons for being a long jumper.
Winston’s days of being energetic were soon replaced with pain. His family took him to the vet thinking it was a sprain. However, it was cancer. They were told there was no hope. He took his medicine and listened to all their prayers asking for him to be better. Everyday they prayed that the cancer would go away and Winston would be healed.
Did God really care about him? He was just a dog. But Daddy Tim kept saying, “God told me Winston will be okay.” Was Tim crazy or was God going to heal Winston?
Winston’s Story gives hope, inspiration and tells the story of how one family’s faith stood strong in spite of all the science that would tell them otherwise.
